New Business Cards

So, what do you think? I just created them and ordered a few to see if I like them. I think they look pretty good.

Vivian

I was playing with Vivian on Friday while Tara and the Mission students were all having their video shoot with Lee Lannom, our worship leader. She was laughing at me and I took this awesome picture of her! I played around with my Photoshop tools and made this fun collage.

Mickey's new hair do...

This is Mickey Clark, our Youth Pastor. He had a dare with the students on Super Bowl Sunday... if they had 200+ students come to the Super Bowl Party, he would get a mohawk in his hair and color it! So, the students WON! It was a great time, many students dedicated their lives to Christ! WHOO HOO!

It Snowed!!!

It snowed a few weeks ago and here's some pictures of what snow looks like in Cleveland. Hey, don't knock it... they still closed school AND everyone ran to Walmart to buy up the milk and bread!

Emy wanted to wear her snow boots that morning... we had no clue it was actually going to snow!

Coupons, Coupons, Coupons

My new hobby is COUPONS! For two weeks, I have saved over half our grocery bill just by buying things that are on sale (BOGOF are the best!) and using coupons for more $$$ off. If you're interested in saving money, check out: www.southernsavers.com, especially on Wednesdays for the grocery ads. This site is good nationally, not just in the south. The girl who runs the site tells you what store has what on sale and which coupon to use and where to get it from and how much you will be paying per item. It's such a huge $$$ saver! If you live in Cleveland, check out www.funandfrugal.com for daily freebies and money savers for the whole family.

Playing Around With Photoshop

I made this today, playing around with photoshop and some digital scrapbooking tools I just got. I think it turned out pretty cool! Butch and Sue are Tony's cousins - 2nd cousin Tonya's parents. These old pictures are from the 60's, I believe. The ones of them by themselves are from their first date together. The other is a wedding photo.

Settlers of Catan

Our favorite board game at the moment since the week before Christmas. We're so addicted! It's so much fun. Just about everyone we teach the game has to go buy it for themselves. You can play online for free at: www.playcatan.com.

The Mission South Carolina

Tara and Kenny are directors for The Mission South Carolina. The Mission is a one-year discipleship, ministry and leadership training program designed to equip and train students to engage their culture and influence their world for Christ. See more info at: www.themissionsc.com. They came here last Monday on their way to Nashville. I was able to do a fun promotion photo shoot of them while they were here. We had so much fun!

Looks like an Abercrombie ad or something...

This was THE BEST!

This is the back of a postcard I created for Tara, advertising their Exposure Weekend in April.

Visit with Brad, Tracy, Babs and Scott

A few weeks ago, we went to Nashville to see Tracy and Brad for the weekend. We were able to go to cousin Bab's house and meet Jet! The kids had a blast playing at Jet's house. We had fun going through old photo albums and seeing pictures of Babs, Tracy, Tony and Tara as kids.

Jet and Emy... he loved her!

Fun Week, Fun Pics

Here's some fun pictures from last week.

Brayden and Righteous (with his make-up on from his skit performance) jumping off the stage at church.

Brayden, Braxton and Ashton performing their own "Camping" skit, after the Mission students performed their skits for us. The boys LOVED being able to use the microphones!

Emy sang, "God, You Are My God" for us.

Emy, Ashton, Braxton, Vivian and Brayden. We were just missing Jordy! Cousins!
I have been letting the boys hair grow out a bit... we've always kept them very short, especially in the summertime, so I thought we would try something new... go a little longer, maybe even shaggy. Brayden's is doing good... it's laying down a lot and he looks cute (see above picture of the cousins.) Ashton, well, Ashton struggles with the longer hair look (see above picture of the cousins again.) As you can tell, his hair gets BIGGER as it gets longer... it doesn't lay down, it poofs up. It makes his head look 3 times bigger than it really is. LOL. So, I gave it some time and the longer hair look just doesn't work well for him. So, I HAD to cut it. Here he is with his new, adorable haircut. I took them by the brick wall on the front porch like I did the other week with Emy and Brayden.
