Merry Christmas!

Just thought I would say Merry Christmas before we left for Cincinnati tomorrow morning. We love you all and wish you the best Christmas with your families this year!
“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”- Luke 2:11-14

Thanks...

Tony's ordination went great, thank you all so much for caring for us at this time of our lives. The service was very special and emotional (of course) and we will hold on to those memories for the rest of our lives. It's amazing to see how many people actually LOVE you so much!
Thanks to everyone who wrote a special letter to Tony. It really meant the world to him. He was surprised and taken back by all of them.
Thanks to Linda, Wayne, Chad, Jennifer, Jason and Michelle who were able to be there with us. Our Cleveland Family is so special! =) We love you all and are blessed to have you in our lives.
Love and Blessings!

About the Nathan Impellizzeri post...

Nathan and his sister, Angela, are dear friends to us from Christ Community. Nathan led worship for about 3 years and we were there when he released his first CD, which we have. "Ode to Her" is one of the songs on his first CD and they played it on the show One Tree Hill. Here's Nathan's blog post about it from his myspace:

What's the deal with all these "Hills" and "Trees" sitcoms/soap-operas/pseudo reality shows these days?

I mean don't get me wrong "The Hills" is totally like my favorite-ist show like ever. Yeah! And "Men in Trees" makes my life like so worth living. And "One Tree Hill"...let's just say I'm so excited Nathan and Haley got back together. So I was watching "the Hills" the other day and because I was so pissed at how Spencer was treating Heidi, I flipped over to my second like favorite-ist show like ever, "One Tree Hill." And the tears totally swelled up in my eyes because they played my song to their story. And I thought I wrote that song about my life, but I was wrong. I really wrote it about them. I just didn't know it yet. Check it out!!!

I almost cried when I saw the video because I'm so proud for him. He truly has so much talent!Congrats, Nathan!

Puppy Love

It's 76 degrees in DECEMBER? Craziness, but we LOVE it! We played outside a lot yesterday at Memaw and Papaw's house with Kenzie. Here's some super cute pics. Sorry for the lens flare, the sun was right at me. I couldn't miss these shots, though. Too precious!

Three Little Monkeys

We totally enjoyed our 74 degree weather today! I didn't know that our trees in our front yard were climable until I saw my Spiderman child (Ashton) climbing it. Brayden soon followed and then, Emy was asking for help up in it. They thought it was the greatest thing. Emy held on for dear life, but thought it was hilarious to look upside down.

Emy's First Haircut

Emy got her first haircut today. I was cutting the boys' hair and I asked her if she wanted her hair cut. She said yes and was very excited, as you can see in this first picture:

"I'm ready..."

"I don't like brushing out the tangles..."

"I don't know if I want to go through with this..."

"Wait! It wasn't that bad and I'm soooo super cute!"

The pretty bengal princess, all finished!

I love this picture!

Brayden's 1st Grade Christmas Program

Brayden sang with his 1st graders at Michigan Avenue's Christmas Program Monday night. It was so cute! Autumn (his cute little girlfriend from kindergarten) is the girl on the stage by herself. She starts the song singing solo. ADORABLE! Brayden is in the 2nd row, 6th child from the left. The video of their song is below this post.

Leif, Jen and Abby came to visit!

We LOVE our dear friends, The Hyrne's! They came to visit for a couple days and we had so much fun!

Yes, this is the true Leif Hyrne...

Merry Christmas, HO HO HO!

We LOVE seeing Santa in the mall! Emy wasn't afraid this year and thought it was funny to sit on his lap - she smiled like she was such a big girl! The guy taking the picture was busy with other customers, so Santa told me how to take the picture and I did it! So cool that this picture was actually taken by me (they don't allow other cameras so I couldn't have done it myself with my own camera).
Another special thing is that Santa told our kids a story, the true story about the candy cane. White is for purity, Red is for the blood of Christ, and the three stripes of red are for The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. We all thought that was such a cool thing to know!
