Brayden's Big Purchase

Brayden has been saving his money since last summer for a Nintendo DS game system. They cost $130 in the stores, so it's a pretty huge deal to save that much money.

Since he received some birthday money early (along with Easter money), he had enough money for the DS to purchase it from the "Mommy Store." (I had bought the DS a few weeks ago since it was on sale for $119 at our new Target!)

It's a DEAL!

Someone is pretty excited... his face is priceless.

This morning, we gave him one of his birthday presents early (the game he has wanted the most for his DS). It's Spring Break, so he'll be able to enjoy it this week. =)

Happy Easter Pictures!

Brayden talks about his new haircut

Brayden talks about his new haircut and what Autumn (his little friend - girlfriend - from school) will think when she sees it.

Snow, in MARCH?

Yep, as many of you know, it did snow here last weekend! Here's an adorable picture of Emy before we played in the snow for about 5 minutes (then she was done b/c her hands got cold - hahahaha, just like mommy! BRRRRRRR!) The snow didn't last long, only a couple hours if that. Kind of wish we were able to see your blizzard, Cincinnati! Now, THAT sounds like FUN!

Wall Climbing

Tony took the boys on a special date last weekend, to a wall climbing place in Chattanooga. They really loved to be able to climb on everything there! Such a fun time!

We miss you, Viv!

Vivian and Xander came to Cleveland for a short visit. Emy and I met up with them, Jason and Michelle and other friends from Lee at Zaxby's for dinner. I wish they didn't live so far away! We miss them so much (and you, too, Jesse! Wish you could have came!)

New Haircuts...

Brayden INSISTED that he be "balded" and so we buzzed it. He thinks it's the funniest thing he has ever done.

My three cuties (Emy is just too cute, we can't stand it!)

We LOVE Target in CLEVELAND!

Our new Target opened this week and we are soooo excited! The boys and Emy really enjoy this huge circle in front of the store and they have to climb it, jump through it and run around it before going into the store and then when leaving the store. FUN FUN FUN! Our Plaza is also getting Kohl's, Bed Bath and Beyond, Circuit City and tons more! Cleveland is moving up in the world!

We love our church friends!

These pictures were taken Wednesday night at church. The boys have their class, Upstreet and their lesson was about the Good Samaritan.

Ashton says "BYE BYE" to Preschool... HELLO homeschool!

This is Ashton and Hayden at Preschool. Hayden was the reason why we kept Ashton in preschool this year. They are the best of friends! We put Ashton (and Brayden) in preschool for social reasons, but since being at Grace Point, they really have tons of friends! Last week, Hayden's mom took him out of this preschool and put him in the Pre-K class at the elementary school where his sister goes (pre-k is free). So, we decided to take Ashton out as well since he had been doing so well doing homeschool with me on Tuesday and Thursdays and no longer wanted to go to school since Hayden wasn't there. Just know listen to the difference... when we started a little over a month ago, he had no interest in learning letters or sounds, or anything like that. I was getting a little worried since Brayden learned all this before he was 2! BUT, the miracle is that since I have been doing homeschool with him, he is now READING on his own! He loves to do basic math and learn new words to read. He really feels like he is measuring up to his brother and it's so great! I'm very proud of him and he is, too. It's also been great practice for me because I have tossed around the ideas of homeschooling for next year. We're totally going to try it out, so it should be fun!

Brayden had the ball and this boy took it from him (by the look on his face, you can tell he was NOT happy about it!)

I'll post more pics up soon. I just love having fun with collages!

Campfire in our backyard

My mom and Clay came to visit us for the weekend and we enjoyed having them here so much! Saturday night, after dinner, we made a campfire in our backyard and roasted marshmellows. Clay helped the fire get going and stay up, Ashton and Brayden just really enjoyed getting more sticks and dried grass for it. Brayden kept telling me "Take more pictures, mom!"

Ashton and Clay working on the fire.

Emy loved the fire, but was sure to keep her distance.

Happy Roasting!
