Ashton's 7th Birthday

Ashton turned 7 on November 24th. Wow, it's pretty amazing to think how fast these years have gone by. I can't believe that Brayden is almost 9, Emy is 4 and Ashton is now 7. Let's see, let's learn a little about Ashton.
A - Absolutely loves the Lord and very curious about Heaven
S - Shows lots of love to our family. He is constantly trying to play with Brayden and Emy, typical middle
child, never wants to be alone.
H - Huge heart for the needy. He gave most of his birthday money away to church, candy for his brother and
sister and bought a gift for the family his class at church was sponsoring for Christmas.
T - Totally wild and crazy... sometimes, it's not so pleasant and we have to remind him of it.
O - Orange and Black Jersey - BENGALS! - His favorite to wear
N - Never stops playing SPORTS! He favorites are Baseball, Football and Basketball. Currently playing
basketball and scores most of the points on the team! He also carries a football with him EVERYWHERE.


We made him a football cake - he requested it.

Our Church Directory

For 3 weeks in October-November, I worked almost every night, taking pictures of families for our church directory. It was fun, but I was exhausted and my house looked like a tornado hit it. I still did school in the morning, but couldn't seem to get past that first load of laundry. Tony was wonderful with the kids - dinner and putting them to bed every night. I've been finished with the portrait sessions for about 2 weeks now, so I getting all caught up and back to normal. I will start on the actual directory after the new year. Here's our family picture that Lee Lannom helped me with.

Halloween

On Halloween, we walked out of Crackel Barrel and saw the best rainbow! It's actually a double rainbow! It was so bright and so pretty!


We went to North Cleveland Church of God's Fall Festival. Here are the band, The Lads, performing. So fun!

Two New Dogs...

My mom got a new dog, Charlie a 15 month old Shihzhu - Papillion mix from Jackson, TN. We got his brother, Kody. They are both very sweet and fun doggies. We went to Nashville to get these guys and met up with Tracy for dinner. The dogs were cute, but an awful smelly mess. They needed a bath and a hair cut.

Cute Kody after his bath and haircut. He is very sweet and loves to play with Daphne. Surprisingly, Daphne and Kody are very good together. He has made her calm down so much and pretty much follows her lead. He still has to learn to get over the puppy chew stage, although it's not really that bad at all. He is house trained for the most part too. So, it's been a pretty easy transition. Emy is in Heaven, of course. She loves her doggies so much!

October 28th - 9 Years Anniversary

We went to Logan's to celebrate our anniversary. Fun with the kids. =)

Ok, so I turned 30... WOW! Tony threw me a surprise birthday party with a lot of our close friends and my awesome family who TOTALLY shocked me for being here! I was so excited! He surprised me with the party at the church and told me that we were going to lunch (PF Changs) and a movie (wouldn't tell me what.) He said he had to "stop at the church b/c he forgot to turn the spot lights off on the stage." He ran in, then came out and told me I had to come look at the stage for Sunday. That's when I had a SLIGHT clue as to what was going on.... BUT I was completely surprised as to who was there! I LOVED IT! Teresa and Beav took pics and I have asked them to email me them so I can post some. Tony made video of the kids talking about me and what I like. Here's a little info to sum up their answers:

Best Friends: Amy Lee (Ashton); Michelle Steffenhagen (Brayden)
Favorite Place to go: PUBLIX (all of them said this)
Favorite thing to talk about on the phone: COUPONS
Favorite movie: ???? (they couldn't answer this...do I watch movies - lol?!)

I can't remember the other questions, but these were the most hilarious because they are so TRUE!

FREE Stevie B's Pizza

Anytime someone says FREE, I am usually THERE! We heard on a few websites that Stevie B's would be giving away FREE pizza! So, I called Amy up and we went on over there - an HOUR early! No one was there for the FREE pizza yet... I was pretty shocked. So, I was #1 in line, Amy #2. It was fun and yummy... I think we ate it in less than 5 minutes (me and the kids, not me and Amy - lol!). It was a pizza TO GO. =) Totally FREE and I totally LOVE it!
